This experience was both fun and frustrating. It was fun to be able to take some time out of the day and just unwind and draw some things. However it was also frustrating because I really wanted the drawing to look good and realistic but I am not the best at that sort of thing.
I definitely do like to draw. It something that almost everyone has the supplies for, you just find some paper and a pencil and you can start drawing whatever you like. Drawing is something that I like to do when I’m bored and have some free time.
Drawing is 100 percent something that takes practice. I feel like a lot of being good at drawing is hand eye coordination and muscle memory, so the more often that you do it the better you will get. Plus the more you practice the more you can see what your skill set is and what you may need to work on. That being said I would like to do more drawings in the hopes to get better at it.
I am currently undeclared but from experience in previous classes I feel like drawing would be really helpful in science classes. In a lot of science classes diagrams help facilitate the understanding of the content.
I think drawing can be a language. Sometimes putting emotions and feelings into words is hard but as it is said sometimes putting it on paper is easier. Just like intangible things I feel like drawings do a better job at communicating what something looks like than a verbal description can.
